WOW that skin looks god. My suggestions:
The locks of hair should remain the same color (or slightly darker) then the fur of the main body, but no significant changes. The tree stump hammer, to maybe fit the theme of the skin, make it a grey rotted tree stump with axe-head damage on it. Keeping the weapon a lighter color then the unit body will help bring out the features of both. The ornaments could maybe adorn some skull images on a dark/black metallic surface (like evil arthas' armor) if this is going to be an undead tauren. Completely black out the eyeball- give it the appearance that there's nothing more then an empty skull eyesocket there.
