just import it..and leave it as it is..

from what i know that model doesnt need custom textures thus, you just import the model and dont touch the path for the model.

Well I'm sure models needs paths sometimes. I rember models I wanted to test but they didn't work becouse I didn't know what path to give them. I had lots of problems with (your?) werewulf model.

yeah, my models like the char and werewulf were bugged.

But models dont needs paths, not unless you want them to replace a current wc3 model. Which ..really doesnt need to be used.

anyway..try reimporting it again and leave the model path alone.

Model.dx must not be changed but Texture.blp must be changed. end of the line...
