Look, my model is lost in the model section if that tab above that says |Models| is clicked.

why?

it shows up when The List > Approved Models is clicked

It is, in fact recommended, but I couldn't see it when I click List > Recommended

Yes it is.
Resources that are put in packs no longer show up in the respective resource sections.

Actually try to remove the model on that pack, after a few hours it should show again on the resource section.
