[Spell] Wht is wrong with Life Drain?

When I create a copy of Life drain and put in on a unit, when channeling this ability it hurts the caster! Why? How to fix this? It should take hit points from enemy unit and give them to teh caster.

It takes hit points from the victim, but also from the caster...

Check the spell's data, you might have touched something there to make that happen.

I saw as well that nothing could ever do that, when I do it I don't get problems, May I know what you did, did you copy the spell or created a new one, either way they result in the same thing, try creating the spell again.

i created the spell from the original

If it's anything like the Siphon Mana issue you had, try copying the ability into another map to see if it still glitches there. If so, then there must be something wrong with that specific copy of the ability. Otherwise, try recreating the spell in your original map with a new custom Life Drain and see if that fixes the problem.

Now when I copy the new spell to another map there is no problem. Strange...
so the problem is not in the spell

So are you saying it's your map? if it is you can just do it all again, IF you hadn't done much. But still you should keep trying to create the spell and give up when it really won't work.

Well do you have a trigger that runs when the spell is cast?

Are you using Damage Engine from Bribe? The system causes life drain to do that, and it is corrected on the demo triggers
