Wc3 on Ubuntu?

I've been thinking alot about going Ubuntu since I have it installed and all but is it possible to play Wc3 on it? If so, how can I install it?

Yes you can install warcraft 3 on ubuntu by using wine.
Although, you won't be able 'alt tabbing' out of the game to the desktop.

Note: the WE didn't worked for me on the moments I used ubuntu.

Aye that's what I'm doing currently but I'd save time if I could run on ubuntu

You would have to run WC3 in OpenGL mode for best compatibility as although wine may emulate DX, opengl is supported by linux so running in something supported should be better than something not.
