WC2 DOS version Multiplayer

Hello everyone, i just went through the campaign of the DOS version of Warcraft 2 and it was a blast. I enjoyed it more than Warcraft 3. So, i thought I should try the multiplayer scene. Does people still play this version somewhere on private servers?
