I am having some problems with Warcraft III tft. Every 3 hours or so of gameplay my PC restarts for no apparant reason. There is no rule to the restarts(it can occure in any map), but it never occurs between at least 3 hours(meaning that it wont occure twice in 15 minutes or something).

Anybody know how I can fix this?

you could either have a virus or else you need a new power supply, or maybe a processor depending if it's overclocked or not, i had a similar problem a while back because i overclocked an AMD Athlon a while ago and my computer would shut down occasionally because it was near it's end.

Hmm... I doubt it. I'm running only w3 at the time and I have xp. My processor is Intel Core Duo 2.2 ghz. I guess it could be a virus...anybody recommend any goot anty-virus? It does not matter if it costs I just want to know.

Well do you have a temperature meter program, where you can monitor your temp. and rotation per second?

How to clean:
1 Turn off your computer, unplug all plugs out of that thing and put it on a more comfortable spot.

2 Open it and start cleaning.

I should, if I were you, check your cooler again and this time, use an vacuum cleaner +
cotton swabs, but carefully off course. Hold the vacuum cleaner close to the vent so it rotates (that sucks out some of the clogged dust), then use the swabs to peel out the remainings. OPTIONAL: If you may noticed, your computer has gone from jumbo-jet to silent.

One problem mate, how come it only acts this way to warcraft(a game that every working computer on this planet can play) and does not act to Assassins Creed, Oblivion and Crysis, three games that require a great machine?

CMarket, sounds like RAM curroption more than processor. Because I also get ocasional reboot when playing WC3 on this PC which is a P4 3.0 GHZ with 2 GB ram. Usually it ends in a crash rather than a reboot.

I think WC3 occasionally bugs and overwrites a key segment of RAM the OS uses and thus a spontainous reboot. All I can recomend is you stop playing every so often just to restart WC3 ( after every few games you play).
