Sorry if this is the wrong place for this, but I didn't think it fit anywhere else as it has nothing to do with triggers and it's not about my computer itself.
---
For the last couple weeks, unit portraits have been displaying particularly dark shadows, sometimes obscuring half or more of the face of the unit. Toggling the Light setting to Low/Medium/High fixes it for some units, but then units that did not used to be afflicted become affected.
In addition, in the World Editor, whenever I use View Game Settings (either via the 'V' key or the drop-down menu), the shadows on all of the units and destructables become extremely prominent, sometimes turning a unit almost entirely black. This persists even if I turn VGS off, but if I exit the map and re-load it it goes back to normal. Also, when placing units, the transparent unit which indicates where the unit is placeable or not (indicated by whether or not is red) is occasionally entirely black except for where it's teamcolor shows through.
I've tried re-installing but to no avail. It happens whether or not I use JNGP and my Warcraft 3 (plus TFT) is a legitimate, store bought copy. Anybody know what's wrong?
