In the heart of a seething volcanic island, three powerful factions find themselves drawn into an inevitable conflict. The massive central volcano dominates the landscape, its molten lava flows creating both dangerous obstacles and strategic opportunities for those brave enough to venture near.


Each player's base is positioned in tight proximity around the volcanic center, forcing intense early-game interactions and constant tactical decisions. The compact battlefield means that every resource, every unit, and every spell cast must be carefully considered as your enemies are always just moments away from launching their next assault.

Synopsis: Voolkan melee is a square-shaped melee map for up to eight players who are all positioned in a ring layout without any obstacles between one another. While the unique player position brings uniqueness to the map, it currently lacks form and foundation as a melee map. In the current state, the map does not meet the standard melee criteria.
Map Aesthetics: The map has a volcanic theme, which fits the name, but there is a lot of room for improvement with the aesthetics. The terrain is very flat and lacks any kind of decorative object placement as well as shape - while the square-shaped layout is interesting, it should be done in a more natural and dynamic way. I would suggest you to take a look at other melee maps (preferably those of high quality) and see how they have implemented aesthetics and visual clarity.
Map Layout: The layout is unique, but a creep camps and other objectives that players can contest are critical factor of a melee map. As such, you should rethink this area of the map and make appropraite changes.
Neutral Objectives: The map lacks neutral objectives.

Comment: There are a lot of areas for improvement: terrain work, layout, neutral objectives as well as more dynamic and natural game-flow. Rated as Lacking.
