I personally suggest using a program called 'Sonic Foundry Sound Forge'. It's very easy to use and offers tons of editing options to change and morph your voice to suit any character you want.

I use Audacity it's free and has loads of voice modify options! why do you need to have a voice editing program? are you makeing a campaign with voices or somethin?
