Villager attack animation change on weapon pickup?

How to make villager change attack animation on weapon pickup?
I'm not really into this yet, and I want to change the punch-attacks to stab/slash-attacks when I pick up a dagger.
(It would be nice if you described every little detail in how to do this, as I said I'm not really into this yet)
