Vertical Scroll

I recently just bought a laptop for mobile purposes (obviously) and I'm trying to get used to its features. One thing i noticed is that if i use the touchpad scroll it will either zoom out or zoom in (like it does with a mouse) OR it will move the camera up and down. Kinda annoying that I cant rely on it to zoom in/out if I dont have my mouse with me. Is there a way to force it to zoom rather than move?

I think your touchpad is registering the Middle Mouse Click event when it moves up/down; in war3 if you middle mouse click-hold and drag around the map, it moves the camera.

If you have special driver software for your touchpad, see if you can disable that functionality.
