Upgradable Hero Armor Icon Bugged

Is there a way to make units that receive armor upgrades and use the hero armor type (left) use the proper icon with the upgrade level box (right)?

You need to swap the icons in the game interface, for some reason hero armor icons are inverted and the text fields are misleading

Tried it, but doesn't seem to be the case.
I suspect that the game just draws from the same field for both the upgraded and standard versions for some reason.

Well it does seem to work though, at least in 1.35

Actually the Defense type (hero) needs the icon without the small box and the (no upgrades) line takes the icon with the box as intended, I was sure the two of them were inverted at some point... Oh well

Edit: just to be clear, this is a custom icon that has the box integrated in it, the game doesn't create it automatically
