Units to Hero

I have read a few forums and still haven't found what I need.

I want to know how to turn a unit into a hero.. I got the glow under control but I am not sure how to add in a dissipate animation without messing up the entire model..

I do not have any of those expansive Gmax or w/e programs so those tutorials wonr help.. I have Vertex Modifier, Geoset Merger, Warshape, and War3 Model Editor. Now If I can get a free download to another program that I need for those link it!
 
I thought I mentioned that I did check before..

I found that one using Magos' Model Editor but when I did it I ended up with a Decay Flesh animation without the bones appearing at the end..

I think it is because it is not explained very well.. Some poor grammer.. Does anyone have an easier tutorial or at least can explain it better?

Callahan's tutorial is written in excellent English, so I don't see the point...
Anyway, send me a PM and I could help you, because this thread is going clser and closer to a spam thread.

To get rid of the skeleton, ctrl + click on it, keep trying until the skeleton turns black

Go into your geosets

Right click on the geoset and click remove

The model will now have no corpse

Go into your geoset animations

Find and remove any and all geoset anims that say 'none'

In the Geoset ID Field

Please note: if you do note remove unused Geoset Animations your model will cause warcraft (and orld editor) to experience a criticle error and crash

Im sure I'll get it down eventually.. General Frank said he would give me "personal" help.

I have almost finished you practice doll tutorial. Best would be if you could add me on MSN, if you have it, becuase it would be easier to do so.

EDIT: Here you go (Model attach below). Then try Callahan's method once again. It's easy you'll see. You'll see that I added 2 bones for it that push the whole model upwards in Dissipate animation.

Well, no better teacher than a pro like franky, even though he denies it flat out :p

Pardon. What did you mean ? Sorry, but I don't get it.
