unit attacking problem

ok i got this weird problem
when my unit attacks, the attacking object goes out like fire or bird or whatever he fires, and only after 1 second he does the attacking move with his hands

what do i need to change to fix this?

I believe it's the attack backswing [sic] value for that unit in the object editor.
