Im not entirely sure thats possible unless you make a triggered region to move them to the other side of the bridge, or you make the bridge a flying unit and trigger them to go overtop of the river. The reason you cant just walk under the bridge is because their usually in Deep Water and then you use shallow water with ramps then it is pathable. But if your using bridges across Gorges or Canyons then you have to trigger it.

no not waygates :p

I was thinking about it. Would it be possible to have walkable terrain go across and then create the illusion (perhaps a special tile or some doodad) that a river tunnel exists in that spot. Then setting regions for boats to go from one section to another.
