Transparrent Doodads...

Hallo, i'm not sure the question is as simple as the title says, but this is what i would like some help with:

I've made a roof for a map i'm making, and would like to know (if any one is willing to help), how to make the roof become transparent when walking below it.

My main question is simply how to do it.

I'll Rep you if you find a solution.
(Ps. i don't take ''make a region in every house, and when a unit enter that region set roof transparency to 50%'' for an answer)

Make a region in every house, and when a unit enter that region set roof transparency to 50%.

Or, model the roof your using, and create a low transparency model, and replace the roof, when you come within range.

NOT exactly what i was looking for TheBlooddancer... I meant that effect that already exist ingame when a unit walks behind a tree.

Ps. I'm not stupid, I know that solution, my problem is that i've got about 100 houses or more in my map, aka that trigger would take A LOT of time and fill a lot too.

Actually yes. If you use the scroll button in-game you change the angle-of-attack of your camera. You'll notice that if there are a lot of trees in front of you, they'll get transparent depending on the distance between the camera and the actual tree. Try it out.

Edit: lol, when I was saying "actually yes" I meant: "yes trees get transparent", not "yes you are getting mega stupid" :p
