What can Possibly be new in this version?
The graphic's were good in first one, so is this an Expansion to be honest?

A new game is something with Completely Reworked physics / Graphics / Areas

It's a sequel.
They have not shown any screenshots, I think, so far all we know the art style could be much improved. The user interface is apparently being completely redesigned.
The area is drastically different; the game now takes place in a giant world with dungeons scattered about instead of one multi-layered dungeon sitting next to one small town. Not to mention time-of-day and weather effects.
The classes are most likely to be heavily changed, as well as the addition of a new one.
There are probably even more parts that haven't been revealed yet, as the game was only just recently announced.
And story seems to take a more important role this time around.

Expansion is just some add-on content, this appears to be a complete reworking from the ground up.

Diablo, Titan Quest, Mythos, and Fate.

The thread was made an hour previous to this post...

I only ever got to try torchlight for about five minutes. Seems decent, but it's not multiplayer, right? If that was added, I might get it to play with friends.

The most exciting new feature of Torchlight II is the multiplayer element. Play with your friends, and use the free peer-to-peer matchmaking service to meet new players of a similar level and interest.

finally, torchlight II... I liked torchlight, its gameplay was good, I just hoped that there was more characters or more places to visit...

After watching the video:
-wow, it seems that the graphics was improved (I hope this can still be played with not so high-end cards)
-the spells looks great (it seems they remaked the spells)
-new world!

After reading the overview at the site:
-4 classes now, yeah
-new UI (I hope they will put up a trailer with the new UI)
