Is there a way to switch to the current date or was it abandoned in 2010?If so,will there ever be a update for it,or will that be done on Hive 2?

Ignore it, already contacted ralle about it a month or so ago. The new site will take care of all the relevant concerns.

The calendar is part of vBulletin and it hasn't been used in years because we don't need it. The new site has no calendar, so that is "solved"
