terrain problem

makin a world map....and it wont let me have snow and grass at da same time....cuz dey r cliff terrains

anways so how can i have grass/dirt/and snow in da same map????

and am not usin cliffs.....am just elevating ground so... if any1 knows how to import new types of terrain dat would work too and i could replace it wit rock or some terrain im not goin to use thx

Go to Advanced --> Modify Tileset and tick use custom tileset. Find the tile you want in the additional textures and click add tile. NOTE: You may have to remove another to be able to fit it in.

yea i alrdy knew that...
da prob is it doesnt let u add or remove any tiles dat have da red square on it

cuz dey r cliff tiles....but ive seen maps wit grass/snow/dirt so im wonderin how dey do it

Select the cliff base tiles 1-3 from the modify tileset.

yea i have no idea how to change da cliff base

edit: ok i think i know wut u mean its GO to advance-->replace cliff type
but dat doesnt help me...it would only swap between dem

Wait so you want them to be cliffs not just tiles?Then you should try WorldEditorUltimate but its bugged as hell.

yea tiles is fine for dis map actually but it doesnt let u put in snow

Well then you probably have the max 13 tile spaces all used up?You should try NewGen,it lets you have a lot more tiles and other good things that normal WE doesent have

but it doesnt let me add snow because its a cliff tile...
if u go to Advance-->Modify Tileset
den clik "use custom tile set"
u will under dat dis... "NOTE: Cliff Tiles (red) may not be added, removed, or replaced"

Clisk on use custom tiles then find the tile you want,(if its a cliff search it in cliff base tiles) then click add to add the tile or replace to replace it with another one that you dont need.
