Background Story
Talgath is a high-ranking eredar of the Burning Legion, a close spy of Kil'jaeden, and once a dear friend of Prophet Velen.
Centuries ago on Argus, Velen trusted Talgath deeply and shared with him the secret plan to escape Sargeras’ corruption. Talgath betrayed Velen and reported the evacuation to Kil'jaeden, nearly destroying the draenei before they fled.
After joining the Legion, he became a Man'ari eredar and spent millennia hunting the exiled draenei across the cosmos. He eventually tracked their faint naaru energy traces to Draenor, where the draenei had crash-landed and could no longer flee.
Talgath observed the orcs and recognized their brutal, warlike nature as a perfect weapon against the draenei. He informed Kil'jaeden, laying the groundwork for the corruption of the orcish clans and the near-genocide of the draenei on Draenor.
During the Burning Legion's final invasion, Talgath commanded his own forces on Argus, remaining one of Kil'jaeden’s most loyal and ruthless lieutenants.
