Hi!

I'm working a Bomberman Map (Signature). The thing is I started from scratch, and wanted to add the same imports. I add them all, but they won't be added as variables, I don't know why. They work on my past map, but don't want to turn "useable" in the new map file. Just one of them does.

Any ideas?

Is it really neccesary? I already said that the sounds worked fine on my past map (wich would require "Use as sound" on the Sound Editor, and there's ony and only way to turn sounds into variables: The sound editor. I also said that one of them does work, means, turns into variable when I choose "Use as Sound" in the sound editor.

The language i'm using to write this is "English", and i'm posting it on www.hiveworkshop.com (now that I have to say obvious things, u know)...

I like the way you act when under pressure!

*offtopic sorry*

Are you done being a smartass? You haven't gained anything from posting an answer like that.
What exactly was necessary? I just tried to help you, I have no idea why you're all of a sudden being so rude.
Edit: I said "leads me to believe" because I wasn't sure whether that was the case or not. You could have just replied that you did indeed do that. How did it turn into this? endedit

That is exactly how I came to my conclusion, thank you for confirming that.

they won't be added as variables
Could be interpreted as "I cannot set them inside the variables".

Yes, you said it worked in your past map, I read that - if you don't use "Set Sound" in the new map, it won't work there.
The explanation I provided works perfectly with what you said in your initial post, if you had added that you had already set them inside the sound editor, then that would've been a different story, wouldn't it?

Sorry ap0calypse. I didn't meant to be rude, but, In fact, It was pretty dumb of me giving an answer like the one I gave.

The problem is I see the sound in the list as "Imported", I RightClick, select "Use as Sound" (or press CTRL+U) and the sound isn't added to the list, tough it sounds if i Play it. Only one of the sounds is added to be used as Sound. These are the same sounds I used in the map before.

@HappyTauren. Nice. Didn't know that. I could use it, but I'd still like to know why the sounds aren't working with the sound editor.

They're all wav, they all play in the editor, in winamp, in wmp. They're not the original sounds, tough... They are the sound exported from the other map. I don't know if they could get messed in the process of Importing/exporting.

Yeah... i tried importing from the sound editor and from the import editor, also tried restariting the WE and following past steps. Maybe the sounds got messed up somehow. (They are playable though)
