Hi guys,

is it generally frowned upon if a custom map gets taken by another User and remade with his own visions and changes to it.
In my case i would take a single player survival map and make it multiplayer compatible (4 Player).
Of course i will credit the original author of the map and his idea behind it, still i don't think i would be enough?
Asking him for permission seems quite unlike since he is no longer active (i assume)..

Best Regards

Try as much as you can to get permission. If it's not possible, it's OK until the author(s) come(s) to ask it to be taken down.
Be advised though, that the changes have to be significant otherwise it won't pass the approval (over Simple badge) since we don't need n copies of maps around. There are other site which host stuff like these.
