Skin Problem

I wanna change the color of a skin. It's this one https://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/skins-552/illidandark-blp-66880/?prev=search=Illidan&d=list&r=20. I tried to recolor it to red for example and the skin looks correct but the blades and the panda face look like paper.

Is there a way to recolor it properly?

the panda and blades are just 2d meshes. and model edits are the only solution not to make it look like paper. also, you accidentally recolored the outer alpha channels of the blade and panda that's why there are black outside it. just alpha out the outside of the blades to remove the black parts

What program are you using? In GIMP, you can just erase the parts around the blade to make them disappear in-game.

Dude... Why don't check the damn tutorials? It's not that hard...
I've merely ever recolored anything (so it might look like shit),
I'll do it for you this time, but remember to credit Darkholme in your map and not me!
