I got to play a beta for three games. A few things, Zerg rushes are extremely op early game and can easily overwhelm most defences. Protoss are really fun to play and due to the huge unit cap they really don't have the same problem with number of units as they used to.

Terran seem to die before they can get any good tech.

In terms of graphics, I noticed that terrain and doodads are slightly visible when under water, which is interesting when seeing structures which reach out of the water. It appears that the individual tiles come with 3D grass animations, but it might be cleverly placed doodads, Im not sure.

But it is an awesome game.

IF you want the SC2 beta, I believe you have to make sure the option "News and Special Offers from Blizzard Entertainment" is checked in "Communication Preferences". Find that in Battle.net!

Offtopic: You need an Battle.net account for this.
Offtopic 2: It's an 0.0000000000000000000001 change that you will ever get an beta, since it IS an closed beta, it is NOT an open beta.

Fucking great. I waited 4 years for starcraft 2 be released, just to notice that my Nvidia MX4000 doesn't supports tit. My life lost its mean, and I think I'm gonna suicide. :D

Fuck, better I find a job before they release the full version.

I found a $45 9400GT 1GB on NewEgg. It runs StarCraft II fine (Except when there's a huuuge fight going on... But let's not get into that).

Untrue.

My brother has a 6150LE. I had the same.
To play DoW2, which needs a 6600GT, I upgraded to a 9400GT.
It didn't run TOO well, but it ran.
StarCraft II comes out and WANTS a 6600GT.
I run it just fine.
My brother does as well. He still has a 6150LE.
It seems it doesn't NEED it, but it wants it.
Do note my brother can't run it all too well, but also remember that you have a 4400, meaning that a 5400, 6400, 7400, 8400, and 9400 are all basically the same, with very slight improvements. Just rebranded.
I'm guessing you'll be able to run it okay-ish, but you might want to consider getting like, a 9400GT. I got a Sparkle 1GB 9400GT for around $45, so it's not exactly all too expensive.
THE GAME(!!!!) will be more expensive than the new card.

By the way people, I have a little bit of question:
If anybody knows of you if the game already is with latest patch on it installed or you have to completely patch it from 1 to 12?
Because just now I realised I have no editor and my Patch 12 keeps looping because patcher might think I already have all previous patches.
