a few tips to make it beter: the face looks awfull it stretshes as you can see so put the eyes maybe a little closer and dont make em so wide the balls around his nek are pure red.. that doesnt look really good maybe you can do somethiug with them like make em buttens or something the flag.. maybe you can make it look like it isnt a very thin brick flag but make it so that it hase something to do with the age your going for something futuristic and the sword.. well you could really improve the sword i think you went for the lightsaber afect but dont.. becous this really doesnt look like a light saber and well a beard made out of little wires? thats wierd just some sugestions to keep you going..

The metal isn't very shiny. The skin is most likely made of black lines and black dots. Those dots and those lines must be avoided at all cost, seriously, they look horrible, they just dont fit in a skin. The metal is very very blank, its only a boring grey, without not really any shades, for darker shading i recommand a blueish tint, and you must also brighten up the metal. the sword's handle is horrible: its a grey rectangle with few blurry red dots on it. Oh and you used filters on the flag holder.

Bad color choice, grey and red, only two colors, that's already not enough.
