Remove Hero Icon

I'm trying to remove the hero icon along with the health/mana bar and select function located on the top left corner of the game.

I don't want to change the Hero to a Unit; unless there is a way for a unit to have an experience bar.

I also tried to change the icon to : UI\Widgets\EscMenu\Human\blank-background.blp

but didn't seem to fix the problem, the select function would still be there.

on the object editor, set this :

Stats - Hero - Hide Hero Interface Icon

to true
