So considering @Direfury is inactive for a year or more,

You would need permission from him in order to make icons from his models..

Im currently fixing the Icon Submission Rules as they are clearly outdated and in need of updating..

This icon and the others are fine but just letting you know for future reference that i will change it too were if a user is gone for a year or more then you are able to create icons for models but they need to be 50% freehand or more to be approvable.

This also may help out @MangakaDark as he probably wants to create icons for certain models but is not able to gain permission due to the inactivity of some users....

That would be great. Taking this opportunity, I dare to suggest to allow posting icons on any work without requests for a permission, as long as the icon designer does not trivialize the work and does not include the work in Assets so that they cannot be downloaded together with the model. (@General Frank)

My logic is simple: I draw from a photograph, from a screenshot of a certain object, I illustrate it. I can sit in a museum and sketch statues, and I won't go to jail for that. As long as I don't disparage the artist or discredit his work, I can give other people the choice of whether or not to use my work for a given model. Does this sound fair?

Im not talking about how the icon is made, if its 50% freehand overtop of a screenshot and looks good then ill let it pass but im talking more along the lines of if a user is inactive or is active but doesnt express if they want there resource used by others in ways he does not want. I dont want to make this thread about politics so i will create a sperate one for this talk.
