I predict that all of this recolored shenanigans will be rejected due to being way to simple and no real work involved. Since in todays society its popular to get offended i declare that im offended by your audacity to ask to be credited for 5 a sec amount of work done with editing.

You got the very very basics done but you need to improve your work drastically

Why don't create a thread in the request section? like the hive simple resources one, and upload all this recolors and edits, because they're useful indeed, but as Em! said, they'll go straight to substandard :c

General Frank moderated a lot of my models: he said they are useful for someone, but in substandard section.

Somemone can't do this simple edit, how do they do if they want this type of models ? That's why I post my resources !

I agree very much with this. Even though its pretty simple, not all people know the tools enough to do this. Therefore, it is very useful and may also inspire someone to create a specific ability.

If it were to be psoted in any other forum or section, it would...
1. be impossible to find.
2. make that forum spammy with loads of simple resources.

I think a "simple" section should be created beside or maybe within the substandard section, so people can find useful stuff like this.

War model editor magos is free here on hive. Heres is a short tutorial

Open up the existing model, go to particle emitters and see a color bar like in windows paint pick and change color. Save and done.

I have a few rejects in the simple model section but they are still a lot more work than that but í admit i forgot about that section.

But it take too time to download, follow the the tutorial, etc... and find a corresponding icon in WoW, or recolor an existing WC3 icon...
Peoples want just to click on DOWNLOAD: short, simple.

the first point is pretty valid, most of the time it's hard to search for resources in the forums, but the second, man, do you check the model section often?, "spammy with loads of simple resources" is the best description for it, until the moderators appear.

Yeah, and that's why i think that a proper thread in the forums, like the one that Ujimasa used to have to upload all his resources would be the best option, instead of spam the model section with these models, wich, like i said before, are really useful, but they're gone from the main page in a blink :c (or maybe create a single pack with all of them directly to the pack section, if that's doable ofc)
