Protect Map

Please up for me a software that can protect map. Other links of this type of software on MF were cancelled and I can't find, download or even use it. Up for me the lastest "map protection". I can't find its link on Google

In short: protecting maps sucks in my opinion, but Vexorian's map optimizer is probably the best tool for it.

i like protecting maps just to keep cheaters from breaking the game. never had to protect one tho as i am still trying to finish my first one lol

The thread I linked has more details on this, but to summarize: as long as a map is playable in Warcraft III, then the map can be edited.

While protection for an ORPG might be smart, it won't stop people from being able to cheat.
For any other map, protection itself isn't worth it, but the optimization might be.

ik it can be edited if someone really wants to. its just to discourage ppl from editing cause they have to go that one extra step.
