Could someone help me here?

The last version of my map seems to bug for some users. They are reporting that the preview screen is a totally white (even though it shows up normally for me and a lot of other users).

I'm using the same programs I've ever used (ACDSee to convert, and fireworks to edit).

Did this happen with anyone here?

Thanks.

Look, normally, the preview screen is white because you didn't used the correct size of the image. But, if you can see and the others can't, so I think the problem is the patch they are using. Ask them to update the patch, and, if it didn't help, try to use other image to see what happen.

Hes right, it has to do with the size. I've had this problem before. You'd think if it shows up correct for you, it'll work for everyone. For some reason, this is wrong. Make sure the size of your image is the same size as the original image. This should solve all your problems!

No not necessarily, I've had the same exact problem. When I didn't use the right size I saw it properly but my mom's computer (Which is almost identical to mine) didn't. I still suggest checking the size!

Er... it didn't help as i thought.

The image I was using indeed was bigger than the normal, but when I resized it to 128x128 (as I always used), it became blured for people that used to see it white before.

for me it still shows normally.

any further help?

Blurred is better then white. Have you seen this problem yourself. If not I suggest you try and view what they consider 'blurry' yourself. This is because people have different opinons so what they think is blurry you might think is just fine.

Could you post the screenshot, I *may* be able to glean some information from it. As far as I know the only problem that could cause a blurry image is well... if the image wasn't perfect size. If its a completely bad size, it'll display a white image, if its not perfect, it'll try to resize the image thus causing a possible blurry effect. I really don't know too many other causes of blur.

I just made a loading screen and a preview screen. My preview screen is not blurry, and there are one of two reasons why it is to others.

1) Their graphics card sucks
2) The resolution of the pic is too small, increase the resolution per square centimeter.

I used a 256x256 picture. You could try that, too.

My loading screen is a tiny bit blurry, but i figure it's gotta do something with the compression, if there is any. All my sizes are right.
