So, I made a trigger that should create a four rays effects from some destructible Doodads to another. For some reason, it didn't work. Tried changing it to having the source on a Doodad to a region but it fail anyway. Finally I even tried just creating one between two units but nothing.

Was there any change with the last version of WE that made my trigger fail?

Please, ignore the Spanish parts, they are only the names of the doodads and regions.

Is your game graphics quality set to the highest? It's also possible the effects are being created at height 0 and so are being 'hidden inside' the terrain.

Checked both just now. Not the problem. I tested another map in witch I made a similar effect and it works just fine. I'm pretty confused about this.

Hmmm, I saw the rays that worked in my previous map were tagged as variables as soon as they are triggered. I don't think that has anything to do with them working but I tried it anyway.

This is the trigger in my prevous map that still works fine.

I tried doing the same and asigning a variable to every effect as soon as they are created :

But to no avail.

The weird thing is that both triggers are almost identical and I tested in the same version. What is happening here?

To be fair, I'm not very worried about the new map. I can use other effect to do a similar thing without much impairment. But this erratic behavior of the WE this last months is getting on my nerves.

I have just noticed that apparently, a lot of non-English versions of WE have been reported of lacking a lot of strings. Do you think it could be the source of the problem?

My Warcraft 3 is installed in Spanish. Would it cause damage to my work if I installed the English version? Maybe that could fix some weird issues I've seen lately.
