here's what's wrong :
you use MDL File as opposed that you must use MDX File in the Import Manager.
How to do make the model works :
1. Open the Model in magos
2. Save it as MDX File
3. Open WE
4. Import the Model
5. Enable Custom Path for the Model and change the Path into this : AltarofElder.mdx
6. choose the unit you want to use this model
7. the model is going to be a box, that's alright, close WE, reopen it then open your map which has the model
8. it should work correctly now.

I just discovered something new than restarting the editor (This is more faster)
Well , you just need to import the model , then change the texture path
And then , save the map <This is most important , dont make a custom unit/doodad this time , save the map first so it loads the archive map >
Then wait until the "Archive Progress" Complete
Now , create a custom unid / doodad or what ever

As i know , this is only working on newgen 2.0
Well , sometimes , this method dont work :)
