That is just not possible... You can't change a unit into a hero.
You must copy a old hero and edit it or create a new one.

What do you want the unit to make or to be like??
Just copy the dates in the unit to the hero.
for example go to model ctl - c go to the unit ctl - v and the hero has the same model as the unit.

If you have newgen, you can copy the unit, and set the first letter of the new rawcode to a capital
