Short description:
First of all i would like to suggest this map especially to people who play "Ninja vs Samurai" or shooter games like Elim.
There are 2 teams, both of them must be both smart and skilled.
Theres lots of strategies if you just work as a team!

General Info:
Map Size: 128x160
Players 12 (Before it was 10, but using neutral races now)
Teams: 2


Description

What to do?:

In this map your either a guard or an escaper.

If your an escaper you got to hit your way through 3 levels to victory.
You must also dodge lots of bullets, normal guards bullets can simply be dodged by moving since their attack is like catapult, but the hero bullets are slightly more difficult since its projectiles.
To win you got to reach a goalpoint in the end of level 3!

If your a guard you got to prevent the escapers from escaping, by killing them.
Simple? Not really...
Use "A" button to fire with your rifle and D to reload, but beware of the reloading time (3 seconds, ouchy)!
To win you must make sure to keep the escapers to keep them within the walls for 3000 seconds.

Heroes:
There are 3 different heroes the escapers can choose between: Smart Escaper, Stealthy Escaper and Strong Escaper.

Smart Escaper is mostly a supporting hero, who can put guards to sleep, scan for enemy guards (looking for new ability here), summon a rat (which turns out pretty usefull as he can destroy barrels of explosive and see cameras) and last he can do kamikaze which is pretty obvious (usefull when sorrounded and ur empty of items and spells).

Stealthy Escaper is the strategy hero (which makes him slightly harder) who needs to observe more before he rushes in. He can turn invisible, create an illusion, throw a needle (sharp and deadly missile) and a passive spell which makes him transpearent + 30% evasion.

Strong Escaper might be the easiest to play as, since hes quite simple and the best hero at rushing into combat! (especially good at charging).
He can sprint, dodge (turns invulnerable for 1 second, enough to dodge an attack), cast sharp glasses and last the funniest spell of them all...
Fart, its very powerfull (and funny) as he releases a fart which kills anyone coming close to it. (it also plays the ogre fart sound :p)

Guards got: Camera (sees invisible units), Sprint (same as the Strong Escapers one), Remote Mine and Homing Missile.

Items:

As for items, they are likely the most important part of the map, as they are quite usefull!
The guards doesnt have as much items as escapers, because their spells is already quite effective aswell as guards need to defend almost 24/7.
The Escapers though have a much more to pick between when it comes to items.
Needles and C4 are mostly the basic and most usefull items in most cases though.


Btw i've added lots of secrets to make the game funner! ^.^

I need to say this map is very nice and makes fun if you play it inhouse or public.

It is very original (but you may already know the gameplay of NinjaVsSamurai) and has nice features.

Only that the bullets arent units but a shockwave effect isnt so good like rest is.

Would say, 8/10

New update... version 3.7.

*Escapers got hero glow now (and when stealthy escaper learns camoflauge the hero glow is removed for extra stealth)

*Some changes in terrain

*The secret beta grenade item have gotten a new position + now only 1 grenade not 2

*Fixed more leaks

*Fixed coldown and effects to balance spells more

*Added/removed new barricades and guards

*Only 1 layer of barricades at tower defence part at main gate

*Fixed leakable barricades (not trigger leaks, but able to walk trough a defence of barricades).

*New teleport point at lvl 3 for guards

*Fixed aquasition range on sniper guards

*Permanent invisibility for summoned rat

*+ some misc. things

Ok im gonna update the game now, but i want more suggestions for balance and fixes, heres some of the current things im gonna do.
-If possible, remove shooting through walls
-Making barrel explosion triggered to make barrel killing work perfectly!
-Multiboard
-More items:??? (Suggestions plz)
-Less aoe on Guards bullets
-A timer for each level instead over 3 levels, in lvl 1 the timer will be easy, but become tigheter and tigheter by the levels
-New spells for smart escaper
-Cameras will become visible for escapers...

Smart Escaper spell is kind of simple. Just make the map ping any guards within a 4000 AOE, which will tell him where and what to do. For Dodge, you should just use phase shift with longer cooldown.

Also, you should edit your original posts instead of quadruple posting.

Erm i didnt quite understand this, since i already got a quite similiar spell, except it pings all players.

For Dodge, you should just use phase shift with longer cooldown.
That is a no no, because phase shift makes you dissapear and stop which ruins the whole point of dodge.

Also, you should edit your original posts instead of quadruple posting.
Not if you need to bump the thread!

I just played this off B.net and it was amazing.

Changes that should be made:

On the last level the escapers automaticly run up to a guard spawn area when ordered anywhere past it from their spawn. (Move the guard spawn up so escapers don't get themselves killed / break their move because of the trigger to block them)

When guards shoot, their bullets go straight through barrels of explosives without activating them so the only way to use a barrel is to suicide.



Btw, great work on the terrain! It really helped get into the mood of the map and gave a sense of accomplishment after reaching level 3.

New update before im leaving on vacation for a week.
I might do a little update when i get back home in case theres bugs or balance issues.
I havent gotten to test the new version fully properly multiplayer yet, but it should work fine.

Major update changes 3.7 > 3.8:
-an innate ability for all Escapers
-reedited terrain again
-timer for each level instead of one for all
-items
-income
-better attempt at balancing more
-fixed some small bugs
-more colours and new ui
-multiboard
-secrets which is unlockable for all players
-commands (including a -kick command for host)
-100 different kill messages
-more informative
-reworked/added new spells (Smart Escaper have been redone much stronger)
