It's basically all recolour with some poor freehanding. Try looking at some of the site's tutorials.

Don't mind the crappy...... Cape and the part that looks bad, It doesn't really show.. and the cape looks fine. [If you remove it. And If you don't remove it, It looks fine, Just test it first It looks fine. >>]

do some more work on the skin. add mosaic to the cape redo a bit more armor and leggings and it should be fine. nice beard but the cheek is a bit odd
