I looked at all dem tutorials.. I think... I know i need a 32 bit or whatever and 128 x 128/ 256 x 256 and it needs to be tga... but how do i get all that
Simply use your image editing software (Gimp, Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, whatever you've got) to create the image, resize it, then save it as a .tga file type.
To make it easier why not download irfanview for free at there website open the image then hit file batch conversion/rename then open the picture from the file list then hit advanced options then put in 128 by 128 pixels and tga format. the hit start and it saves it to ur desktop in tga format rdy for u to import to your map. once in your map rename the file "war3mapPreview.tga" with out the quotes. Hope this helps.
