use winMPQ, theres a method to extract them but im not totally sure, but lorothrigs showed me how. he told me this

Open up World Editor and go to the model you need and double-click "Art - Model File"

Then close World Editor and pen up WinMPQ and then go to File >> Open and then guide it to your Warcraft 3 folder (Default is “C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\”) Then open up War3Patch.mpq. Now insert a text file and name it “(listfile)” with no file extension and both parentheses and open it up.. Now add whatever the file was + “.mdx” or “.blp”. (I.E. “Units\Creeps\HeroFlameLord\HeroFlameLord.mdx”) to (listfile).

Now close it and when it prompts you to confirm that you wish to update the file hit “Yes” and then goto File >> Reopen MPQ, then scroll to the bottom and it will be there, now right click it and hit “Extract” now extract it to where you want it to go.

Okay, I'm not experienced with the WinMPQ program. I opened up War3Patch.mpq and then the window fills up with unknown files. After that, I can't find out how to insert text files. Could you explain how I get that to work?
