I need help making a passive mana shield ability, similiar the permanent immolation ability.

Why? Mana Shield drains mana per hit. It would have to do that; otherwise, the unit would be invulnerable.

If the unit runs out of mana, then what? Would the shield loose its effect until the unit gets some mana back?

This could also interfere with spell casting. The unit wouldn't be able to reserve mana for a powerful spell. In a way, it wuold be at the mercy of its enemies.

I want to make a hero with only 100 hp(although ill trigger it so the hero dies when it reaches 0 mana) and a very large amount of intell and mana. Im also giving it very powerful spells so having to use mana as both health and a source of spells will help balance it out.

So is there a way to make it passive?
