Partner for creating a map about Harry Potter

Hello,

J just started a map about the Trimagic Competition of Harry Potter.
It would be fine if somebody would create it with me.
I`ve only started with the dragon-fight and some abilities (4/16) yet.
There`ll be 4 heroes of course.
If you want to work with me you need to know Harry Potter and you should have some experiences.
It would be easier if you have icq then, but you needn`t.

alright it seems you also need someone who understands the story I read the books and watched the movies.

I'm not exactly what you call a potter fan but at least I understand what's going on. anyway. I can do custom spells, and triggers.

1: WIngardium Leviosa is ine, you just need to remove the impale spike.

2: change mago so it only targets wards

3: What about the underwater task? how are we to do that.

5: I have an Idea what if we give each character a few spellbooks. (the warraft abilty that allows you to do awesome stuff)

Basic Spells
Harry has
Harry's Spells
Victor has
his own
fleeur has her own
and cedric has his own
but they all have basic spells

and what is the purpose of this map?

is it an RPG or a competition

I say that we should make this a 4 player map.

each player picks one character and plays through earning points.

consider the dragon a boss fight that you don't actually have to kill.

so there just have it's HP reset every second.

you don't ned to tell it to attack jsut prevent it from leaving the arena, and make the arena larger.

by the way

what are we to do about that underwater part?

I rwant to see this map done, the 4th book was my favorite and also use the city scape or dalaran tileset, it's more hogswartylike. (trust me that's a word)

Yes, I wanted to make a competition and it should be a 4 player map you got it.
to 1: I thougt of this but I don`t know how and I haven`t tried it yet.
to 2: Yes I wanted to fix this later, you got it
to 3: That is the biggest problem: I don`t know how to do it. I hoped you would know how to make this looking good
to 4: great thx. It should only target weak monsters so that he can`t explode the biggest monsters
to 5: Great exactly this was my idea. Just like the Flipendo right? and some spell to block oppenents ones.
I`ll post here the map if I changed it.
If mew has no probleme with you you can help us making the map.
So mew77 is he allowed to work with us, althoug he is a newbie?

Underwater part

i know how to do that. when you reach that part o a trigger with the appropriated event and do an acton: environment - set fog. here you set the fog to water color like.

Heh,about the underwater scene...Use the Moonwell Water model at the bottom of the body of water with a scale of about:
10.00
10.00
0.35-5 (Depending on depth)
Make sure to keep the doodads very close together at the bottom,it simulates deep water,to some extent.
