Are you already need help? You are going to import the blp to your map and correct the path thats all. With a little search you will be able to do what i say.
So I imported the .blp into my map and changed its path to textures\heropaladin.blp. Then I make a new custom unit and change the custom path of the model file to textures\heropaladin.blp. Then when I try to put one into my map, it show a black and green box instead of a model with the text: ''could not find Textures\HeroPaladin.mdl.'' Help please!
This briefly explains the how to do thing, also try restarting the world editor or try it directly in the game becasue the editor doesn't immediately show all models.
Reloading only causes the file to disappear from my import editor. Is this supposed to happen? The file still doesn't work though. Note that my file is a .blp and not .mdx.
Import it to something like units\human\heropaladin\heropaladin (or something like that), restart world editor, and make your units model file "paladin". Easy as shit
