Both of them represents butane but what's the difference?

That one is straight and the other is curvy?
It's just how the person made the pictures.

That's not what I meant. In organic chem, there two ways to draw the pattern of the alkane or alkene out. I need to know the difference of the straight and the curvy one.

There isn't really a difference between them. The first one shows the most used model of butane's structure because it is easy to understand and to draw.
