Hey, I'm new to the World Editor and I need help with some basic options. How do you set colors for the players in a game (a.k.a. how do I force player 1 to be red, player 2 blue, etc.)?
Unit Group - Pick every unit in (Units owned by Player 1 (Red)) and do (Animation - Change (Picked unit)'s vertex coloring to (50.00%, 75.00%, 33.00%) with 0.00% transparency)
No, they won`t. It will change the color only once, but you may try to put event Unit is trained (or something like that (I don`t have WE atm)) and Action change triggering unit Vortex coloring to (R,G,B) with 0% transparency.
This is not what he wants. This changes the vertex coloring of your units. He wants Player 1 (Red) to become Player 2 (Blue)'s color in-game. To do that, just do: Player - Change Color
There is a link to provide basics, don't rush on learning, it won't get you too far.
http://world-editor-tutorials.thehelper.net/ Take time to explore the editor on your own after you had master the basics, that's my suggestion. It will make your skills permanent.
