Crimson Prophecies is a story-driven Warcraft III custom campaign series that explores the fragile balance between Order and Chaos. Follow Thaelion Aldis and his companions through a narrative filled with political intrigue, religious fanaticism, hidden conspiracies, and ancient forces moving unseen behind mortal conflicts. Preview of a big new system implementation in upcoming Act III
On top of Morality, Military Doctrines and choices from specific past events that were parts of Acts I and II, which will get refined from past gameplay feedback to be more balanced and with heavier impact that further distincts the two "paths", a full new currency system will be introduced in Act III.
Welcome Oathbound Sigils to the stage!
Oathbound Sigils will be a new form of rare currency which is obtained in four specific ways:
1. Selling rare item drops
2. Completing side quests in a specific way
3. Digging for treasures
4. Oathbound tasks - Each mission will have an Oathbound Task which will show up at the beginning of the mission. Oathbound Task will show a list of requirements/limitations/goals the player will need to complete during the mission to be rewarded Oathbound Sigils on the following level.
Usage of Oathbound Sigils:
There are three new custom buildings which exclusively use Oathbound Sigils as a currency for purchasing specific bonuses which stay permanent throughout the playthrough from the moment they are bought such as:
Global Abilites - Which include Global auras and Global active abilities
Weapon Cusomizations - Hero-specific weapons can be upgradeable via a hefty investment of Oathbound Sigils. Upgrades will include Stat Upgrades for weapons and Active and Passive weapon Ability upgrades.
Economic upgrades - Oathbound Sigils can also be used to increase the starting resources, tech level, number limit of elite units and others. In case your bad morality puts you on unfavourable terms, these will come in handy!
Trainable units will still be tied to Military Doctrines, albeit more embraced by their doctrine and unique than before, meaning Oathbound Sigils will get more of a place to shine in making the heroes you control pack a bigger punch, help you start off strong via economic boosts, creating an omnipotent global map presence via powerful abilites, or a mixture of all three. It is up to you to decide.

Added a few screenshots from early Act 3 missions. Will post a few fully completed maps for Act 3 sometime soon so people can playtest a bit and give feedback.
