Im thinking about starting skinning and modelsing but I first want to know where to pull the MDX and BLP of the Warcraft3 game. like there do i pull the origional models out of like a footman?
Export the .blp and .mdx of an footman?
Download WC3 Viewer in tools section and open up war3.mpq with it
For the model of the footman, extract it via the tree list which comes up (models view)
For the skin of the footman, extract it via the tree list which comes up (skins view)
Noooo im saying from this archives thing. where I can get the footman in the game not a skin that someone did. like I want to pull a footman skin right from the Blizzard game archives or what ever its called.
The archives thing is basically the mpq of warcraft 3
The skin you want to extract is obviously in the " archives thing " which you called mpq and the skins inside it will be the .blps. You can extract them with WC3 Viewer, as said
