Neutral units just flee before death

i got a very interesting problem..

creating a dota-like map atm with neutral extra and neutral victim as the 2 computer players that spawn units to attack each other bases.

the units spawn.. attack each other.. and fight till death.. everything fine so far.. BUT

each base has defense-towers. the units engage them and the towers shoot back. but whenever a unit gets damage that it would die in a few seconds it suddenly flees. so that it survives and wont get killed by another deadly shot.

that just happens while engaging towers.. if they engage units then they fight till death. i really dunno why it happens but if someone knows this "feature/bug" (whatever) please tell me where to chance a trigger or setting that my units fight till death.

its a bit annoying if half of my units flee the battle ;-)

guard return distance is set to 100000.01
and time is set to 10000.00

didnt know how to set it.. so set it to a very high level.


guard return time should be high, right?

all creep settings are set that high.. so there must be smth other i´ve forgot.

it just happens with the towers..
if they attack units then they fight till death :-/

yes.. and they do attack the towers..

but before they die they just run away..

and its not that they just have 15% life.. it depends on the damage they get.. if they´re under attack of two towers they run earlier so that they survive with 20hp or so...

and i really dunno why it happens...

so its hard to get a base down whenever half of my men leave the battle ;-)
