You all know about the RPG on the PS2, PSP, and upcoming PS3, Monster Hunter. I am willing to make an online, 4-8 player tribute to this free-form hunting game. I am going to need some help though. I need help with Data collection, ideas, and modelling, such as a weaponless male and female warriors (human), and attachments, such as one and two handed blades, hammers (two handed), lances (with shield), crossbows, halberds, etc. If you've played, heard about, or seen this game, then you know the possibilities with the item creations. If it also possible, to get armor attachments, or different versions of the models (skins, alt. anims, etc.) so when the unit equips the item, it will show, obviously. I also might, MIGHT need help with triggers/spells. I've been making maps for a few years, with both WC3 and SC: BW, and I am quite familiar with triggering, even though i might need testers to make sure there's no glitches, bugs, or leaks. If anyone would be willing to help me in this, I would SURELY give them credit. If you are interested, PM me, or E-mail me at either [email protected], or [email protected]. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, since i have work, school coming up, and marching band taking up the rest of my free time .
NOTE: It would help if you have played this game, therefore you know what the models would look like, but you don't have to have played it to help test it.
P.S.: Kind of off-topic, but for those who have played, you know you get a HUGE inventory to store your stuff in. Is there a spell to save that amount of items, like in a drag-and-drop component style inventory? or how about gamecache-style save-and-load? that might work as well... also, if you save your hero, and load it up again, will the items still have the same amount of charges as it did when you saved it? because I want to have a stacker on it, to store more items in the space provided... If not, then this might be more challenging, but you see why the help would be appreciated, and the credit well given... ANY AND ALL HELP IS WELCOME!
