Hello, I try to expend my map dimensions by checking the Modify Map Bounds, but whatever I try I always get an error that it needs to be a muliplier of 32 in both directions.

That is the case. Check "Modify map bounds" and scale both x and y "entire" (the lower numbers on the right bottom) to 32/64/96/128/160/192/224/256. If that does not work, I would humbly ask for the existence of editor modifications such like "no limits" of JNGP.
