Modeling with Milkshape, animating with...?

I recently got milkshape 3D beta. And I wanted to know which program would be the best to animate models (I DON'T know if Milkshape does it!). And is there a better program than milkshape?

Yes ! In my opinion is the program to animate models 3DS Max Version 5 ! Because you can work with blizzard's Wc3 Art Tool!

But the new versions work too, in new versions you must export with a script.

Or a good and free alternative is Gmax, here is a link for a good tutorial!

For wc 3, i think it's mdlvis, not 3dsmax
