Modeling and Animiting

Hey guys i was wondering since i started to learn how to model and animate can some 1 tell me for what are the Points Z X Y?
Is it possible to add a hat or something to model and how?
And how is sequence manager used?

I will be eternaly greatful if some 1 can tell me:eekani:

X,Y, and Z are called Cartesian Coordinates, each representing width, height, and depth, respectively. Here is a wikipedia article on that:

Adding a hat is simple. It can be done through a process called Geomerging. Here are some Hive tutorials on that:
